I am an Assistant Professor at the Polytechnic University of Milan. My research focuses on the economics of science and innovation, studying how knowledge is produced, organized, and diffused across scientific and technological domains. I examine scientific collaboration, open science, and university–industry interactions, with a particular interest in how emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and quantum computing shape science and innovation. My work combines network analysis, machine learning, and causal inference to analyze the evolution of research fields and the determinants of entrepreneurship and knowledge creation.
